Favorite Lip Colors for the Holiday Season
Hi Friends! Today, I am sharing my Holiday Lip Favorites with you all!! I LOVE lipsticks and am convinced I have a problem. I have way too many, but a girl can never have enough right?!
I absolutely adore deep red colors for the Holiday season but this year I find myself gravitating towards deeper plum colors as you can see! The price range varies across the board so you are sure to find something that fits your budget!
I also think I have found the perfect nude for my skin tone. Oh btw, my skin tone falls in the NC40-42 range so all these colors would be perfect for you if fall in that range.
Here is a breakdown of my favorites:
Smashbox Bawse – $24 – perfect bright red for this time of the year! It feels hydrating without being too glossy. Perfect for South Asian skin tones. S/O Superwoman for creating this lip color!
Nyx Budapest – $6.49 – this is my favorite for everyday wear when I want that stain effect on my lips. It’s even better at this time of the year!
Maybelline Voyager – $7.99 – beautiful deep red. It is a hydrating matte and lasting power is pretty impressive for a drugstore product!
Huda Beauty Trend Setter – $20.00 – the MOST perfect nude for South Asian skin tones! It lasts all day when worn with a lip liner, it is comfortable to wear and doesn’t make me look washed out. Cannot tell you how much I love this one!
Huda Beauty Famous – $20.00 – this one really does bring out the warm undertones SO well! Perfect burgundy color!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brandy – $18.00 – if you are brown and you want the perfect brown shade on your lips, look no further! This one is for you.
Dior Rouge Liquid Hectic Matte – $35.00 – dark purple but not in your face! This goes on beautifully and is quite pigmented. Pairs perfect with a neutral dewy base!
Fenty Beauty Lip Luminizer – $18.00 – this one lives up to its name! A touch of this and your lips look hydrated, healthy and glowing. I hate lipglosses but this one wears so well with no makeup, I am obsessed!
Of course, some of these Holiday Lip Colors would be flattering on an array of skin tones but I know for a fact they will work great with tan skin tones. I think lipsticks can be great accessory during the Holiday Season and it requires minimal effort. Lipstick, for me, is something that pulls an entire look together and I feel incomplete without it.
